Job summary

FedEx Corporation in Michigan is seeking a non-driving Operations Aide to move packages and documents efficiently and safely. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, maneuver heavy items with assistance, and work in varied weather and a noisy environment. Shift is Mon-Fri 5:00 PM–8:00 PM; rate is $17.70 per hour.

Training provided and safety rules apply. Responsibilities include packaging movement, scan/load methods, and supporting other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance from the ground to chest level.
• Ability to maneuver packages over 50 lbs with equipment or assistance.
• Ability to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Ability to bend and squat for designated work hours.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders if required.

Responsibilities

• Provides movement of packages, documents, dangerous goods and/or supply support in a timely, safe and efficient manner through effective scan/load methods. This is a non-driving position (public roadways). Performs other duties as assigned.
