Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a warehouse associate at our New Windsor, MD facility to pick cases from multi-level racks and prepare orders for shipment. You will use a pallet jack and forklift and work within safety guidelines to maintain efficient product flow.

The role requires standing, repetitive lifting, and the ability to work in dry, cooler, and freezer environments. Shift is Sunday–Thursday with Fridays on a rotating basis; pay starts at $23.73 per hour and benefits begin Day 1.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Ability to lift 10–35 lbs regularly and up to 60–100 lbs depending on location.
• Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (dry, cooler, freezer).
• Ability to pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and keep the work area safe at all times.
• Review schedule, gather supplies, and prepare for operations; perform safety checks on equipment.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location.
• Place pallets on pallet jack and move items along multi-level racks to locate products.
• Transport completed palletized orders to shipping dock; prepare for shipment.
• Perform end-of-shift checklist and paperwork; secure equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
