Job summary

Staffmark is hiring a Material Handler in Rainsville, AL. The role offers $17.00 per hour, with a schedule of 3 PM – 11:30 PM, and training on the 6 AM – 2:30 PM first shift. You will receive, move, stage, load, unload, and organize materials to keep inventory moving and production on schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience moving, organizing, loading, or unloading materials in warehouse or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to identify products, labels, inventory locations, and shipping documentation.
• Knowledge of safe material handling practices and workplace safety procedures.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and dependable work habits.
• Experience with stand-up forklift is preferred.
• Willingness to participate in forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Receive, move, stage, load, unload, organize, and transport materials.
• Verify inventory and maintain accurate product locations.
• Prepare materials for production or shipment and assist with inventory control.
• Follow safety procedures and operate material handling equipment.
• Support 6S and Lean Manufacturing standards.
