Job summary

Lineage is seeking a warehouse supervisor in Joliet, IL to lead daily operations and ensure safety, quality, and on-time fulfillment. You will assign tasks, monitor performance, and collaborate with traffic and customer service to meet service standards.

The role requires at least 3 years in a warehouse or logistics environment, the ability to work in cold and dry storage with PPE, and a willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Ability to work in cold storage (-20 F / -25 C) and dry storage up to 100 F (37 C) with PPE.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs (18 kg).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign and direct the work of warehouse associates within a designated area.
• Report defective or damaged products and follow up with corrective action in a timely manner.
• Manage warehouse associate responsibilities including loading/unloading, forklift operation, and product relocation.
• Handle and document daily inspections including equipment inspections and inbound/outbound trailer inspections.
• Check inbound/outbound shipments for compliance and report quantity differences and quality issues.
• Maintain communication with Traffic and Customer Service.
• Coach and provide feedback to warehouse associates.
• Perform assigned projects as instructed.
