Job summary

Patriot Rail Company is seeking a forklift operator for the PM shift (Mon-Fri, 2:30pm-11:00pm) with OT as needed. The role involves staging, loading, and unloading finished products and raw materials using material handling equipment, while maintaining inventory and safety standards.

Applicants should have 2+ years forklift experience, a forklift certification, and good English communication skills. High school diploma or GED preferred; clamp experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
• 2+ years of forklift experience in a similar industry
• OSHA/Safety guidelines familiarity preferred
• Clamp experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect inbound and outbound inventory.
• Prepare, load, and unload products for transport.
• Operate sit-down forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Perform daily forklift safety checks and report issues.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and inventory accuracy.
• Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
