Job summary

Sysco Redistribution Center Facilities is hiring for a warehouse associate. You will handle receiving, stocking, preparation and shipping of merchandise for local and outlying areas, operating forklift and related equipment in a fast-paced warehouse.

You will ensure accuracy, safety, and quality across picking, packing, and loading while following standardized procedures and shift requirements. Training and certification support provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate forklift, pallet jack, and cherry picker and lift 40–60 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to bend, stoop, climb, stand and twist for extended periods.
• Forklift training/certification required.
• Experience with Voice-to-Pick or RF systems preferred.
• SAP knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accurately select/pick merchandise from assigned slots and verify quantity.
• Load merchandise into the appropriate truck.
• Prepare merchandise for shipment on freight lines.
• Repack loose merchandise for shipping/delivery.
• Verify product quality and vendor compliance.
• Adhere to warehouse labor standards.
• Identify and report slot and put-away problems.
• Shrink wrap pallets as needed.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures.
