Responsibilities

• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.

• Drives and operates forklift equipment.
•  
• Conveys materials from receiving/production areas to storage or other designated areas.
•  
• Selects, stocks, loads and/or unloads products per customer orders.
•  
• Fills requisitions by retrieving required products per customer order.
•  
• Sorts and places materials on conveyors, racks or shelves by size/type/color/code.
•  
• Assembles customer orders and loads pallets or arranges for packing/shipping.
•  
• Marks materials with identifying information.
•  
• Prepares loads for production and next-morning shipments.
•  
• Returns products to appropriate areas.
