Job summary

Mid-Am Building Supply is seeking a warehouse associate to load outbound trucks, stock inbound materials, and assist in inventory control. The role requires handling outbound loads and safely operating a forklift, with a focus on maintaining a clean, organized warehouse.

Ideal candidates will be able to read and write clearly, work well in a team, and pass forklift operator testing after training. Must be at least 18 years old and able to follow all safety rules during daily duties.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write so that written instructions and shipping papers can be easily followed and corrections and needed information can be easily filled.
• Analytical Skills - Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.
• Must be able to pass forklift operators test after a normal training procedure.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Put away or stock inbound materials.
• Pull customers’ orders from inventory on hand.
• Load company and customer vehicles with outbound materials.
• Safely operate a forklift to assist in handling of materials.
• Sweep and clean warehouse and pick up trash.
• Observe all safety rules: safety glasses, ear plugs, Lock Out/Tag Out, etc.
• Assist in counting inventory.
