Job summary

Williams Distributing Co. and Shoemaker Inc., part of Daikin Comfort Technologies North America, Inc., is hiring a Warehouse Associate for the second shift (4pm-12:30am, Sun-Thurs) in Grand Rapids, MI.

The role focuses on off-loading, put-away, picking, and staging of equipment and parts with strong emphasis on safety and accurate paperwork. The candidate will operate forklifts, stock items, and support Customer Service Representatives as needed, while adhering to standard operating procedures

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• 1+ years warehouse experience, forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift and other warehouse equipment to load/unload and transfer materials.
• Receive items per procedure and stock in assigned locations.
• Maintain inventory and perform cycle counts.
• Complete Will Calls and related paperwork accurately.
• Follow PPE, safety and company policies at all times.
• Assist customers and CSRs as needed.
