Job summary

Williams Distributing Co. and Shoemaker Inc., part of Daikin Comfort Technologies North America, Inc., is hiring a Warehouse Associate for 1st shift in Grand Rapids, MI.

You will off-load, pick, and stage equipment and parts, while delivering professional service to internal and external customers. Responsibilities include operating forklift and warehouse equipment safely, stocking items, maintaining inventory, completing Will Calls, and following SOPs and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of warehouse experience.
• 1+ years forklift experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Forklift certification in-house within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift and warehouse equipment to load/unload materials.
• Receive items per procedure and stock in locations.
• Maintain inventory and perform cycle counts.
• Complete Will Calls.
• Process paperwork and entries accurately.
• Wear PPE and maintain safety.
• Maintain warehouse and forklift with housekeeping.
• Assist customers and CSRs as needed.
• Follow SOPs and company policies.
• Perform additional tasks as required.
