Job summary

Meyer Distributing is seeking a Part-Time Warehouse Associate to join the Jasper, IN team. The role involves receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise, while maintaining inventory accuracy and safety. Pay is $16.00 per hour with a flexible, part-time schedule.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma (or equivalent), on-the-job training, and prior warehouse experience. Physical requirements include lifting up to 75 lbs and standing for long periods, with a strong

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of one month on-the-job training required.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Disperse product to the assigned location.
• Receive and inspect incoming products for accuracy and damage.
• Pick and pack customer orders based on packing slips or scanning systems.
• Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks, or manually as needed.
• Organize and stock merchandise in the appropriate storage locations.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse, including sweeping, trash removal, and restocking supplies.
• Use handheld scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movement.
• Perform routine inventory counts and report discrepancies.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with other duties and departments assigned by warehouse leadership.
