Job summary

Loomis in Houston is seeking a Vault Teller to help maintain inventory in cash vaults. You will work with a team to verify bags, count items, and sign receipts as part of daily vault operations.

The role requires substantial lifting, walking on concrete, and compliance with security and handgun license standards. A Human Performance Evaluation is required during the qualification process.

Qualifications

• Read and speak English sufficiently to converse with coworkers and customers.
• Ability to lift and carry currency bags weighing 25–50 lbs repeatedly.
• Stand and walk on concrete floors for up to 80% of the shift.
• Meet handgun license/permit or Security Officer Commission requirements.
• Participation in Human Performance Evaluation (HPE) as part of qualification.

Responsibilities

• Check bag seals and amounts against receipts/ manifests.
• Count items, record amounts and serial numbers, sign receipts.
• Load/unload wagons or carts with bags and coins.
• Sort cargo items by route and coordinate with team.
• Communicate with coworkers and customers verbally.
