Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking a Utility Tech for evening shifts at our Dallas location to support Environmental Services. Responsibilities include transporting trash, biohazard waste, linen, and recyclables to disposal points, while maintaining safety and infection control practices.

The role requires a high school diploma (preferred) and 6 months of Utility Tech or warehouse experience, with the ability to lift 50 lbs and work around chemicals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 6 months Utility Tech or Warehouse experience preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work around housekeeping chemicals and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Transports trash, bio-hazard waste, linen, and recyclables to disposal or holding points.
• Ensure safe, timely, courteous transportation of linen as scheduled (30%).
• Follow safety and infection control practices when handling waste and PPE use.
• Move furniture, files, and equipment; set up for functions (25%).
• Adhere to departmental and corporate policies and guidelines (10%).
