Job summary

Horne Kia in Gilbert, AZ is seeking an Automotive Used Car Technician for the night shift (3:00 PM – 1:00 AM). The role offers a $20–$35 hourly flat rate DOE, with benefits and advancement opportunities. You will work in a modern facility on a high-volume reconditioning team, focused on quality and efficiency while enjoying weekends off.

Qualified candidates have 1+ year of automotive tech experience, with ASE preferred but not required. A valid driver’s license is a must.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive technician experience.
• 2+ years of automotive technician experience preferred.
• ASE Certifications preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle reconditioning and repair work according to repair orders.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, brakes, and A/C.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and specialized service tools.
• Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer standards.
• Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and communicate time estimates.
