Job summary

Jack Giambalvo Kia is seeking a dependable, motivated Part-Time Automotive Reconditioning Specialist to join our team. Evening and weekend hours are mandatory, with 3:00 PM–8:00 PM weekday shifts and varying Saturday hours.

No prior detailing required—training provided to the right candidate who shows attitude and work ethic. You will prepare vehicles for delivery, detail interiors/exteriors, and help keep the lot organized while supporting sales and service as needed.

Qualifications

• Evening availability is required.
• Previous automotive detailing experience is helpful but not required—we'll train the right person!
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
• Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand, bend, and work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, and detail new and preowned vehicles.
• Prepare vehicles for customer delivery and showroom presentation.
• Vacuum, shampoo, clean, and condition vehicle interiors.
• Wash, dry, wax, and polish vehicle exteriors.
• Maintain highquality appearance standards for all vehicles.
• Assist with lot organization and vehicle movement.
• Keep the detail department clean, organized, and safe.
• Work efficiently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
• Support the sales and service departments as needed.
