The Center for Youth Services, Inc. in Rochester, NY seeks an Evening Triage Counselor to provide crisis counseling for youth aged 12-21 and families. You will complete comprehensive assessments to identify immediate and longer-term needs and coordinate referrals.

Full-time position, Monday–Friday 12pm–8pm, offering opportunities to advocate for youth, connect families with community resources, and work within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Service or related field and 2 years' experience OR equivalent combination.
• A valid driver's license.

• Youth advocacy

• Transportation of clients, when required

Overview

The Evening Triage Counselor is responsible for providing crisis counseling and responsive care for youth ages 12-21. The Counselor completes a comprehensive assessment that identifies immediate needs as well as longer term developmental and/or treatment needs. This position also provides crisis counseling for families, information dissemination and referral services, as needed.

Full time Monday- Friday 12p-8pm

Pay Rate
