Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 13-week evening assignment in a Level III Trauma facility with 286 beds. Shifts are 1:00 PM–9:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with possible weekend on-call rotation.

Requirements include at least 1 year of MRI experience, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification, and current BLS. Philips MRI equipment experience and a valid driver’s license are required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year MRI technologist experience.
• Current BLS and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
• AHA certifications only.
• Experience with Philips MRI equipment.
• License required if applicable.
• Driver's license required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Level III Trauma facility with 286 staffed beds.
• MRI department position.
• 5x8 hour evening shifts, 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
• Possible weekend work if participating in on-call rotation.
• On-call rotation required weekdays 6 PM to 5:30 AM and weekends 5:30 AM to 5:30 AM.
• Uses Philips MRI equipment.
• Charting completed in Epic.
• No radiation badge required.
• First-time travelers not accepted for this position.
• Black pants and teal top scrub attire.
• Free parking available.
• Block scheduling requests may be considered but not guaranteed.
• Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at a reduced rate.
