Job summary

Greenway Waste & Recycling in Herndon, VA is seeking Part-Time Evening Trash Collectors to service communities in the Herndon area. This role offers guaranteed hours and a few hours each night.

You will collect bagged trash from residents, transport waste to the on-site dumpster, and work independently while following safety procedures. A pickup truck or van is required, and paid training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation to service communities.
• Truck, trailer, or utility van required for this position.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• Smartphone required for work communications.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow company policies and safety procedures.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Collect bagged trash and recycling from residents' doorsteps.
• Transport waste to the on-site dumpster or compactor area.
• Walk the apartment community during service hours.
• Work independently while following company policies and safety procedures.
