Job summary

WasteFree is hiring for evening trash collection positions in San Antonio, TX. You must own a pickup truck and have a valid driver’s license. Earn $20-$25 per hour for Sunday to Thursday evenings, with training and room for growth.

You’ll document dumpster conditions, collect household trash and recycling, and report issues to a district manager. This role requires reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently in all weather.

Qualifications

• Own a pickup truck and be willing to utilize it for trash collection.
• Possess a valid state-issued driver's license and vehicle insurance.
• Have a smartphone with a data plan.
• Currently employed full-time.
• Willingness to learn, receptive to coaching, and ability to follow instructions.
• Punctuality, dependability, and a strong work ethic.
• Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50lbs, navigate stairs, and walk distances.

Responsibilities

• Document the condition of dumpsters/compactors upon arrival using the Service App.
• Collect household trash and recycling from residential units within assigned multi-family communities.
• Document violations and unit numbers by taking photos and submitting them with your Work Log at shift end.
• Track and report any issues or concerns to your district manager.
