SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - Madison is seeking an Evening Shift Telemetry Monitor Technician to join the Monitoring Center. This part-time role supports patient safety by continuously observing cardiac rhythms and logging data for care teams.

Responsibilities include measuring rhythm parameters, signing strips, maintaining logs, and responding to rhythm changes per protocol. High school diploma or 10 years’ experience required; no prior telemetry experience needed. 20 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or 10 years of work experience.
• No prior telemetry experience required.
• Role requires attention to detail and ability to work evenings in a fast-paced monitoring center.

Responsibilities

• Runs strip at time of admission, every 4 hours, and with any rhythm change.
• Measures PR, QRS, and QT and interprets rhythm accurately.
• Posts strips on telemetry log and signs with initials and position.
• Notifies appropriate unit for rhythm changes and ensures alarms are set per protocol.
