Job summary

Qualifications

• One-year working experience in a service industry position or equivalent job experience.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Must have basic reading, writing skills and pass Rush math test.
• Must be able to operate powered equipment appropriately and safely as required by varying environmental conditions.
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks with deadlines to meet changing workload demands.

Responsibilities

• Receive, deliver, stock and replenish EVS supply closets across the Medical Center and off-site locations.
• Use hand-held devices to receive, pack and unpack items for stocking or delivering to shelves, units and off-site locations.
• Verify stock items and count against packing/restock lists; record data manually or on computer.
• Compare inventory par levels with actual counts and reorder replenishment stock as needed.
• Ensure accuracy of received supplies by counting, inspecting for damage, and reporting issues to supervisor.
• Meet Supply Chain Policy standards and scheduled timelines.
• Load and off-load AGV system supply carts and manage cart placement for next use.
• Keep shelves and work areas clean to meet safety and infection control standards.
• Answer telephones according to department scripts; follow ICARE and IConnect in internal interactions.
• Perform any and all Supply Chain functions as assigned.
