Job summary
Kids First in Monsey, NY is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of communication disorders. You will develop individualized care plans and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support children and young adults.
The role requires a Master’s in Speech and Language Pathology and NYS SLP licensure; CCC-SLP is optional. Bilingual English/Yiddish is a plus. Evening and Sunday hours are a plus to support families.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology and NYS SLP license required.
- CCC-SLP certification is optional and may enhance eligibility.
- Bilingual English/Yiddish a plus; strong communication with patients and families is essential.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose and treat communication disorders across speech, language, voice and swallowing.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary medical team.
- Educate patients and families about communication strategies and swallowing disorders.
- Contribute to ongoing research and development of diagnostic procedures.
