Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required for new hires.
• Two years’ experience as a Central Sterile Technician preferred.
• Central Supply Certified certification preferred; within two years from hire at designated facilities.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, prepare, and sterilize Central Sterile trays, instruments and equipment.
• Inventory management and restocking of supplies; data entry and patient charge card batching.
• Demonstrates knowledge of department locations and ability to access all areas.
• Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication in daily tasks.
