Job summary

Qualifications

• Central Sterile certificate required within 18 months of hire (CBSPD).

Responsibilities

• Follows manufacturer instructions for steam and low-temperature sterilization.
• Follows guidelines for decontamination and disinfection of instruments and endoscopes.
• Demonstrates knowledge of surgical instrument kits and assembly.
• Maintains clean work environment per regulator guidelines and hospital policy.
• Delivers sterile instruments and kits to other departments within 48 hours.
