Volo Sports in San Jose is seeking a Daily Play Commissioner for a part-time on-site role. You will lead daily play operations, supervise pickups, and ensure a safe, engaging experience for players across multiple sports.

The ideal candidate brings 1–3 years in staff development, strong communication, and the ability to work nights and weekends while fostering a fun, inclusive community that aligns with Volo’s values.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience with an emphasis on training and staff development.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Can marshal resources effectively and comfortably.
• Can navigate a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Dynamic personality with a passion for a fun, active sporting environment.

Responsabilités

• Overall Pickup Supervision: Oversee the pickup during assigned shifts, ensuring a safe, organized, and welcoming environment.
• Product Quality: Ensure all brand standards are met including formats, welcome speeches, player engagement, and safety.
• Shift Operations: Maintain pickup flow and court schedules and adapt to delays or issues.
• Training: Train future hosts to run quality pickups to brand standards.
• Product Knowledge: Understand Volo Pass products, offerings, venues, days, and events.
• Active Conversion: Identify non-member players and explain Volo Pass value to increase membership.
• Member Retention: Engage with members to strengthen community connections.
