Job summary

Staybridge Suites West Des Moines is seeking an Evening Social Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests during our Monday–Wednesday socials. The role is part-time with evening hours and requires serving light appetizers and beverages, engaging guests, and building local relationships.

Ideal candidates have strong communication and customer service skills, enjoy hospitality, and can work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Food and Beverage Preparation: Prepare and set up light appetizers and beverages (beer and wine) for the evening social.
• Guest Interaction: Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience.
• Relationship Building: Develop relationships with individual guests and local businesses to foster a sense of community and repeat business.
• Service Excellence: Serve food and beverages to guests, maintaining high standards of hospitality and service.
• Clean-Up: Ensure the social area is clean and tidy before and after the event, following all safety and sanitation guidelines.

Hours: Monday - Wednesday, 4:00 PM - 7:30 PM

Job Summary:

Staybridge Suites West Des Moines is seeking a friendly and outgoing Evening Social Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for our guests during our evening socials held every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Food and Beverage Preparation: Prepare and set up light appetizers and beverages (beer and wine) for the evening social.
