Job summary

Mars Petcare Welcome Center Associate in Aurora, NE, is responsible for coordinating shipping activities at the adjacent manufacturing plant. You will manage inbound/outbound orders, maintenance of schedules, and daily yard checks, while ensuring smooth operations and high service levels with carriers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years shipping office/yard management experience needed.
• Strong organization and ability to multitask.
• Clear written and verbal communication, with conflict resolution ability.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and overtime as needed.
• WMS and order processing system experience required.
• Familiarity with receiving and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain appointment schedule for inbound orders.
• Handle WMS tasks: shipment confirmations and trailer dispatch.
• Dispatch loads into Transplace and print BOLs.
• Maintain shipping logs and respond to emails from carriers.
• Coordinate with shipping teams to ensure high service levels.
• Manage trailer pool and daily yard checks.
• Support managers and leads across shifts.
