Job summary

Adventist Health Portland is seeking a part-time radiologic technologist to operate x-ray equipment and produce diagnostic images in the Portland, OR area. The role involves patient positioning, safety oversight, and coordination with physicians for imaging exams.

The position requires ARRT-R certification, OR licensure, and BLS, with an Associate's Degree preferred. Evening shift and part-time hours are available within our Diagnostic Radiology department.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R radiography certification required
• Oregon Radiologic Technologist License required
• BLS certification required
• Associate's Degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation. Explains procedures to patients and answers questions. Prepares equipment for use as needed. Prepares examination rooms for patient exams. Positions patients for imaging exams. Monitors patients and ensures safety during exams.
• Produces diagnostic images. Documents exam information. Reports important information to the physician.
• Verifies exams on PACS.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
