Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a full-time SHIFT SUPERVISOR in Boston for an evening shift. No experience is required; training will be provided. This role directs the activities of associates on a single shift and ensures tasks meet policy and quality standards.

You will train staff, create schedules, evaluate performance, and mentor team members. Prepare reports for management and act as the point of contact for employee requests.

Qualifications

• Training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate performance and address deviations.
• Prepare management reports on performance and safety.
• Serve as contact for employee requests and concerns.
• Mentor and develop staff for advancement.
