Qualifications

• Graduate of an allied health education and accredited radiography school or an approved hospital-based program.
• Valid New York State Department of Health (NYS DOH) Radiologic Technologist Licensure or Limited Permit.
• Active certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-RT or RT(R)).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized medical radiographic imaging procedures.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures by explaining processes clearly.
• Uphold high safety standards related to radiation exposure.
• Participate in departmental quality assurance programs.
