Responsibilities

• Assign staff for routine and non-routine duties on a daily and project basis.
• Reorganize work schedules efficiently to ensure timely completion.
• Clean all patient areas, corridors of Medical Center, Operating Rooms, and other areas as assigned.
• Plan daily/weekly assignments, consider personnel and equipment availability.
• Train staff on patient-centered care principles for customers and staff.
• Schedule regular staff meetings to communicate new procedures or directives.
• Ensure proper methods and use of equipment and supplies; control costs.
• Observe all safety regulations and conduct safety trainings when needed.
• Approve leave requests; counsel and discipline as warranted.
• Coordinate activities with other services; adjust schedules during remodeling or relocations.
• Inspect areas for cleanliness deficiencies and maintenance needs; inspect government vehicles when used.
• Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 3:30pm - 12:00am PD91158A.
