Job summary

SGMC Health is seeking staff for the EVS SPN department on the Main Campus. The Full Time Evening shift (4 pm–12:30 am) will handle floor cleaning and refinishing, carpet and hard-surface maintenance, and preventive equipment care.

Responsibilities include using cleaning devices, maintaining safety, and participating in performance improvement activities to support quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Must satisfy pre-employment and annual physical requirements.
• Ability to demonstrate proper use of chemicals and floor care equipment.
• Ability to pass a skills test to detect equipment malfunctions for safety.
• May be required to drive a personal vehicle to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform major floor cleaning and refinishing per department procedures.
• Cleans and maintains carpeted and hard surfaces throughout the facility.
• Perform preventive maintenance on floor equipment and use cleaning devices.
• Participate in the department’s performance improvement activities.
