Job summary

Rogers Group, Inc. in Verona, KY seeks an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic for underground and surface operation. Shift is 4:00 pm – 2:00 am with overtime as needed. Starting pay is $34/hr, with overall pay based on experience and skill set.

Role requires maintaining and repairing a wide range of mining and quarry equipment, diagnosing issues, and performing inspections. Strong safety focus and ability to weld as needed are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience working on heavy equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair major components.
• Welding and fabrication skills as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, routine maintenance, and inspections on mining and quarry equipment and fixed plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues affecting engines, brakes, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and work order records.
• Inspect machines for abnormalities or defects and operate a company vehicle as required.
