Qualifications

• Basic reading and writing skills.
• 1–3 months on-the-job training to learn departmental policies and cleaning techniques
• Understanding of age-specific developmental stages of patients served by the Hospital and ability to interact appropriately with patients of all ages

Responsibilities

• Create a sanitary, safe environment and enhance facility appearance.
• Service and maintain cleanliness in patient areas, offices, restrooms, patient bathrooms, conference rooms, kitchens, lounges, therapy areas and other areas.
• Follow policies and procedures on patient isolation.
• Stock paper items and other supplies in patient rooms.
• Maintain carts and equipment in clean, working condition and store after use.
