Job summary

Continental Industry is seeking a Department Supervisor - Off Shift to lead and manage operations during evening and night hours at our Lincoln, United States facility. You will oversee daily departmental activities, supervise team members, and ensure that all operations meet our quality, safety, and productivity standards.

The role requires strong leadership and decisive problem-solving abilities to maintain excellence during off-shift hours.

Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing/operations environment.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work off-shift hours (evenings/nights).

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage department staff during off-shift hours, providing direction, feedback, and performance coaching
Support multiple departments and troubleshoot issues across the production lines
Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures
Ensure all associates are working to meet the organization’s metrics around safety, quality, delivery and cost
Address operational issues and resolve conflicts in a professional and timely manner
Coordinate with other departments and shift supervisors to ensure seamless handoffs and communication
Uphold safety standards
