Job summary

Cypress Grove Rehab Center, part of American Senior Communities, is hiring a Culinary Aide for the evening shift. Join our ASC team to help provide safe, nutritious meals and keep a clean kitchen environment for our residents in Newburgh, IN.

Responsibilities include assisting with meal prep, portioning, setting up service, and collaborating with kitchen and service staff to deliver a positive dining experience. Prior sanitation certification is preferred; customer service is required.

Qualifications

• Must be customer‑service oriented.
• Preferred sanitation/safe food handling certification; can be earned on the job.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' dining needs and ensure a positive dining experience.
• Assist in preparation and portioning of meals according to menus and resident diets.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace and equipment.
