Job summary

Le Pain Quotidien is seeking a Cook to prep and execute all menu items, including seasonal specials, for dine-in and to-go by LPQ standards. You will keep the kitchen clean, assist with prep levels, conduct line checks, and follow opening, mid, and closing procedures.

The role requires 1 or 3 months of related restaurant experience or training; knife-handling is a plus; flexible scheduling and cross-training in all kitchen areas are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 or 3 months of related restaurant experience or training.
• Flexibility in schedule preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and understand the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Prep and execute all menu items for dine‑in and to‑go by LPQ standards.
• Keep all areas of the restaurant clean and organized.
• Assist Kitchen Manager in maintaining proper par levels and use prep sheets.
• Conduct line checks for quality control and follow opening, mid, and closing procedures.
• Follow Le Pain Quotidien cleaning and food safety checklists.
