Join to apply for the Evening Shift CNC Laser Operator role at Kirby

UE Manufacturing is hiring an Evening Shift CNC Laser Operator for the 2nd Shift located at 10000 NW 2nd, Oklahoma City, OK 73127. The shift will be Monday through Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. The role involves operating a CNC laser (burn table), press brake, and tubing benders to cut, press, sculpt, and finish metal.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC machines/burn tables to produce machined parts.
  • Review and understand specifications from 3D CAD blueprints, mechanical drawings, and job orders.
  • Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto machines.
  • Conduct test runs to ensure outputs meet specifications.
  • Set machines for full cycle production of large quantities of parts.
  • Supervise machine operations and make adjustments for quality improvements.
  • Inspect and measure finished products to verify compliance with requirements.
  • Perform daily maintenance on machinery.
  • Train new operators as needed.
  • Maintain a strong safety culture.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of electronics, machine tools, and metal fabrication.
  • Strong reading comprehension, math skills including algebra, trigonometry, and physics.
  • Willingness to learn new techniques and software.
  • Understanding of safety procedures and proper PPE use.
Education/Experience
  • High school diploma or GED; associate’s degree in CNC programming, mechanical, or related field preferred.
  • CNC certification from an accredited technical school preferred.

Standard office and manufacturing environment.
