Job summary

PrimeCare Medical in Butler, PA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to serve as the Evening Shift Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in the Butler County Prison. The role is full-time and involves on-site work on second or third shift with every-other-weekend on-call requirements.

The ADON will assist the Director of Nursing with administrative and clinical duties, supervise staff, prepare reports, ensure policy compliance, and maintain confidential inmate health records within PCM and

Qualifications

Licensed as an LPN in Pennsylvania.
Minimum of 1–3 years of management experience in a medical facility.
Strong decision-making and leadership abilities.
Effective communication and independent functioning.
Demonstrate clinical competency.

Responsibilities

Assist the Director of Nursing with administrative duties and staffing oversight.
Maintain records on controlled substances and patient care.
Provide health counseling and sick call for inmates.
Supervise nursing staff and coordinate schedules.
Ensure compliance with PCM, NCCHC/ACA standards.
Participate in facility rounds with PCM Physicians.
Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
