Job summary

Valet Living is hiring part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists to help keep apartment communities clean and welcoming. You’ll collect bagged trash and cardboard from residents’ doorsteps and transport refuse to on-site compactors using your own open-bed pickup or tow vehicle with a trailer.

This role offers an evening schedule, 10–15+ hours per week, and pay rates of $23/hour with trucks or $20/hour without.

Qualifications

• Must own open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle with a trailer.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Active auto insurance for the vehicle used.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Smartphone with data plan to use our work app and receive updates.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work independently and follow a consistent routine.

Responsibilities

• Collect bagged trash and cardboard from apartment doorsteps and transport it to the on-site compactor using your open-bed pickup truck or tow vehicle with utility trailer.
• Service one or more nearby apartment communities during your shift, all within the same local area.
• Stay active by walking apartment communities, climbing stairs, and working outdoors.
• No long-distance driving, bulk item collection, or off-site dumping.
• Use our mobile app to check in, track your work, and take photos when needed.
