Job summary

NCG Hospitality is seeking an Evening Server at The Trade hotel in Milwaukee. Starting at $8/hour plus gratuity, with higher wages for experienced candidates. Flexible weekends required.

You will deliver friendly, attentive service, take orders, and ensure guest satisfaction while supporting team growth and company values. Benefit from growth opportunities, mentorship, and a robust perks program across 35 hotels and our corporate office.

Qualifications

• Three or more months of restaurant experience.
• Motivated to maintain excellent customer service reputation.
• Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest with a friendly smile and welcoming attitude.
• Take dining room and room service orders; relay to kitchen via POS and follow up with cooks as needed.
• Check in frequently with guests to ensure needs are met.
• Prepare checks and process payments using the POS system.
• Remove dishware and sanitize service areas during and after dining.
• Clean and sanitize the restaurant service and guest areas as needed.

How You’ll Make An Impact

Serve up a memorable dining experience as a Server, taking orders, delivering food and drinks, and ensuring every guest enjoys friendly, attentive service.

• Greet every guest with a friendly smile and welcoming attitude
• Take dining room and room service orders; communicating them to the kitchen through the point-of-sale system; follow-up directly with cooks as needed
• Check in frequently with guests to ensure all needs and expectations are being met
• Prepare checks and post payments using the point-of-sale system
• Remove dishware from tables/counters during the dining experience as well as at the end; take them to the kitchen for washing
• Clean and sanitize the service and guest areas of the restaurant as needed
