Job summary

Homewood Living Martinsburg is seeking compassionate caregivers for the evening shift to assist residents with daily living activities under licensed supervision. The role emphasizes confidentiality, proper care plans, and support for nutrition and hydration.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• CPR certification and basic First Aid preferred.
• Licensed Nursing Assistant in the state where care is provided a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and assist with transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living under the supervision of licensed staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Provide personal hygiene care (bathing, dressing, nail care, toileting).
• Ensure residents have clean linen and bed-making.
• Support nutrition during meals and snacks.
• Observe, record, and report changes in resident condition to the Head Nurse.
• Participate in planning resident care and promote activities per service plan.
• Perform transfers according to the Lift Free Program and care plan.
• Conform to policies and procedures and maintain standards.
