Homewood Living Martinsburg is seeking a caring Nursing Assistant to provide activities of daily living for residents during the evening shift. The part-time role emphasizes compassionate care and adherence to facility policies.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene, meals, and daily living activities, while maintaining resident dignity and safety. The position requires lifting up to 30 pounds and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, and turn for an 8-hour shift.
• Organizational skills and ability to perform sequential tasks.
• Must be listed on the state nursing assistant registry within 120 days of employment.
• Strong motivation to work with geriatric residents.
• Ability to read and write in English to carry out care plans.

Responsabilités

• Provides the activities of daily living care to residents under licensed staff supervision.
• Treats all resident information as confidential.
• Assists with personal hygiene and grooming.
• Provides clean linens and makes beds to meet resident needs.
• Encourages proper nutrition and assists with feeding when needed.
• Performs resident treatments as assigned within nursing scope.
• Records observations concisely and reports changes to the team leader.
