Johnny's Selected Seeds in Winslow, ME is hiring for an Automation Operator II on the evening shift. This full-time role oversees seed packing automation, leads staff, and ensures safe, accurate, and timely order fulfillment.

The position runs Monday to Friday, 2:30 pm–11:00 pm, with overtime as needed. Starting pay is $24.66 per hour (22.66 base + 2.00 shift differential), with opportunities for development and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with seed packing equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety practices and company values.
• Monitor workflow to ensure accurate inventories.
• Lead and train staff on shift and cross-functional tasks.
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot seed packing equipment.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, QA, and Engineering.
• Maintain production records and equipment logs.
