Job summary

The Glebe - LifeSpire in Richmond, VA is seeking a Security Guard to oversee safety of residents, staff, visitors, and buildings on the Lakewood campus. This role supports a secure, respectful living environment and follows the 2nd shift schedule.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, English proficiency, and a valid driver's license. Prior customer service or security experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in customer service or security preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and follow written and verbal directions; converse in English.
• Valid driver's license with a clean background.
• Must relate to the needs of senior adults.

Responsibilities

• Makes repeated security and safety rounds inside and outside of community buildings
• Follows security schedules and job routines
• Communicates professionally with residents, visitors, and team members
• Interprets urgent care needs and dispatches appropriate responses
• Uses campus emergency response system
• Maintains logs and records in a timely and accurate fashion
