The Valley Hospital-Paramus | Valley Health System seeks a security officer to maintain a safe environment, control access, and assist in transporting personnel and supplies in Paramus, NJ. Evening shifts and comprehensive benefits accompany this role.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, 2 years of security or police experience, a NJ driver’s license, and crisis intervention training. Competitive hourly pay and inclusive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years' security experience preferably in health care or two years of police experience.
• New Jersey driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Minimum six hours training in Crisis Intervention.

Responsibilities

• To facilitate a safe environment and prevent fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry.
• To maintain control of parking facilities and to assist in the transportation of personnel and/or supplies when necessary.
