Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer for a client-facing site in Newton, MA.

You will monitor entrances, assist visitors, and perform exterior patrols while maintaining a high level of observation and communication with the team. This role offers a Monday–Friday 3pm–11pm schedule, paid hourly at $20, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Reliable means of communication and transportation.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Ability to effectively speak, read and write English.
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Requires a 2nd interview.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service to a client-facing site.
• Engage and respond to clients in a heavy foot traffic location.
• Control access (entrance and exit) to the client site or facility through the admittance process.
• Conduct exterior patrols on foot to inspect building and grounds.
• Maintain a high level of observation skills.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, clients, and management.
• Observe, report, and prepare logs/reports on incidents or suspicious activity.
• Respond to emergency situations following established procedures.
