Job summary

The Queen's Medical Center in Honolulu is hiring Security Officers on a full-time basis for the evening shift, starting at $25.00 per hour. A $1,000 Sign-On bonus is available for external, full-time candidates who commit to two years.

Responsibilities include patrolling the campus and surrounding properties, assisting patients and staff, and supporting Emergency Preparedness activities. The role offers interactions with patients, visitors and medical staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hawaii Guard Registration preferred.
• BLS-HCP certification.
• Valid U.S. driver's license required.
• Good driving record per Hawaii rules.

Responsibilities

• Patrols the buildings and grounds of The Queen's Medical Center (QMC) and outlying properties to provide a safe environment.
• Greets, assists and provides service to patients, visitors and staff in a friendly, professional manner.
• Performs duties related to the QMC Emergency Preparedness function.
