Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard to protect clients across Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government, and more in the Chicago area. The role emphasizes strong customer service, adherence to site-specific policies, and proactive safety measures.

Shifts run 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM. Requirements include minimum age, a HS diploma or 5 years of experience, background checks, and drug screening where permitted. Driving positions require a valid license.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients while enforcing safety and security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
