Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking a Security Associate for an evening, one-day-per-week position at our life plan community. The role emphasizes safety, incident response, and protecting residents and staff.

Responsibilities include patrolling facilities, handling emergencies, maintaining records, and following established safety procedures. Requires a high school diploma, English proficiency, and a valid driver’s license; First Aid/ CPR training preferred.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Valid driver’s license with insurable record.
• Security or emergency response training preferred.
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety and security in accordance with standards and regulations.
• Patrols interior and exterior areas; responds to requests for assistance.
• Investigates unusual or suspicious circumstances; locks/unlocks buildings as needed.
• Responds to resident emergencies and notifies appropriate personnel.
• Keeps accurate daily/shift logs and participates in handoffs.
